Benchmarking
Benchmarking is the procedure of checking results of models against actual industrial plant surveys. Two types of surveys are of interest: benchmarking the specific energy consumption predicted by 'circuit specific energy models' and benchmarking the power draw of industrial mills against 'mill power draw' models.
