Testwork Program
Testwork Program
The laboratory testwork database organizes samples into Programs (or campaigns). All the samples that were collected and tested as one overall group should be grouped together in the same Program.
Creating a new Program
Click the "Testwork" link (at the top of the page, between 'Testwork Summary' and 'Testwork Comparison') for a project, then click the "Add Program" button.
The editable fields for a Program are:
- Name: [mandatory] A unique name for this program. Often will be the laboratory project or the date the work was done.
- Default WiBM: [optional] If a sample is missing this field, then use this value as if it was a test result.
- Default WiC: [optional] If a sample is missing this field, then use this value as if it was a test result.
- Default WiRM: [optional] If a sample is missing this field, then use this value as if it was a test result.
- Default Density: [optional] If a sample is missing this field, then use this value as if it was a test result.
- Comments: [optional] Any additional comments, not used in the calculations.
The Default fields affect which samples are used to run against circuit models. If a circuit model requires a 'WiC' value, but there is no test for a sample, then if a value is entered for the Default WiC, then that sample will appear in the circuit model result list using that default value for the crushing work index. If the default value is blank, then that sample will not appear in the circuit model result list.
