User IDs must be unique within the overall website, not just unique within your Client area.
The recommended form for user ids is the user's actual name followed by @ and your company name or abbreviation, typically:
- User.Name@OurCompany
or you can use somebody's email address as their user id:
- User.Name@OurCompany.com
The @OurCompany suffix will ensure that your user john.smith doesn't get confused with another user John Smith who doesn't work with you.
